It is a unique creation by hand of the Greek Gold Embroiderer Vlachos (Castano) Dimitri. Inspired by the Book of Allah, he embroidered elaborately its external cover of dimensions 23.5cm*16cm*5 cm, which has been invested in textile velvet of exceptional quality and of colour green. In the front cover’s centre in the circle dominates the epigraph “The Holy Quran” embroidered in wire of gold.
They were used wire of gold and silver and 8 white stones of natural diamonds with brilliant (Br) cut, each of them weighting 0.07 ct. and their total weight being 1.54 ct. They have been placed on gold bases K14.
Α special construction of dimensions 25 cm* 32cm*9 cm, made of beech wood and of color walnut, has been invested internally by green velvet and has been created in order to protect the Holy Book.
For the creation of the Allah’s Holy Book were required 1260 hours of work and it was completed in 2010.
