This Cross of Byzantine technique , of dimension 24 cm * 24 cm, has been embroidered on cerise-colored velvet and it is a representative sample of the decoration of orthodox vestments.
The 4 big beams of the Cross are decorated by gold embroidered floral motifs, while a margeurite surrounded perimetrically by 8 small pearls adorns its centre.
They have been used gold thread, wire of gold and silver, 16 small pearls and one bigger which have been placed in the centre of the Cross.
It was completed in 2002 and were required 1,500 hours of work.
It belongs to a Greek collector.
